Manchester Institute of Health and Performance

Manchester Institute of Health & Performance  (MIHP) is part of Beswick Community Hub, a new build facility next to the Etihad stadium. It contains gyms, laboratories and sports facilities.

The Story Team have applied paint with roller, brush & airless spray. In addition, the application of specialist wide vinyl digital paper to offices and reception areas added the finishing touch to the building.

We were also required to apply Class O fire protection to all of the wooden panels in the sports hall.

Challenges were encountered with other trades work, the biggest issues being the condition of the wall surfaces after taping. We worked with the contractor and the client to ensure this issue was overcome and was of  a more than acceptable decoration standard and confidently signed off by the main contractor.
