Albion Square

This new £18m development opened in October 2014 to accommodate up to 1000 Sellafield Ltd office staff.

The project included all painting to walls, ceilings and steelwork, as well as the application of digitally-printed wide-vinyl wallpaper, some depicting iconic Cumbrian scenery.

Exterior: Some preparation prior to application of 2-pack epoxy to car park handles & metalwork.

Interior: Painted emulsion onto ceiling & walls. (Durable matt emulsion). Applied all woodwork & metalwork.

Epoxy floor paint onto concrete floors in plant room areas.

High level work on Steelwork in atrium areas using tower scaffold & mobile elevating work platforms.
Architect-designed digitally-printed wide-vinyl wallpaper (Tektura) hung to customer specification

This project was awarded Very Highly commended in the Commercial Category of the Premier PDA Trophy Award 2015

While the digitally printed vinyl wallpaper impressed, the quality of painting works, which made up around 75 per cent of the project, was also commended by the judging panel. They stated that the ‘project was very well presented’ and the client Sellafield ‘expressed complete satisfaction with the works’.
