Our team recently had the pleasure of attending The Shimmer Ball with Vinci Construction at the Radisson Edwardian in Manchester, an event that beautifully combined elegance with philanthropy. The evening was not only a chance to dress up and socialise but also an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause.
The primary aim of the charity ball was to raise funds for MedEquip4Kids which provides life-saving neonatal and paediatric medical equipment for NHS hospitals.
One of the most anticipated segments of the night was the auction. The bidding was both competitive and exciting, with all proceeds going directly to the charity. Our very own Colleen was successful in her bid for an amazing prize.
Attending the ball as a team was a fantastic experience. It gave us the chance to connect outside of our usual work environment and share in the joy of giving back to the community. The event also sparked meaningful conversations about how we can continue to support charitable causes in the future.
The charity ball was not just an evening of glitz and glamour; it was a celebration of community spirit and generosity and resulted in the charity raising an outstanding £66,150 !!!
